to the Church of the Ascension
In 1955, the Church of the Ascension was founded. In 2022, as a result of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Beacons of Light Pastoral Plan, Ascension joined St. Albert the Great Parish and St. Charles Borromeo Parish to form the Kettering Catholic Community, now called the Mother of God Family of Parishes. The priests serving the parishes include Pastor Fr. Tom Nevels, Fr. Chibueze Asiegbulem, and Fr. Tony Sanitato. Rooted in sacramental life, we strive to be a vibrant, active and welcoming Catholic community. We encourage all to give glory and praise to God through knowing and sharing God's love in our homes, in our communities and throughout the world.
